'Sarah Siddons' at Ashford

This is the first picture I have uploaded after some tinkering with my new photo-editing software, which I am still getting used to. It will not make a silk purse out of a sow's ear (to use a good old English phrase) but may help some of my more salvageable early efforts. This, scanned from a 35mm transparency, is London Transport Metropolitan Bo-Bo electric locomotive No. 12 'Sarah Siddons' on display at the Ashford Chart Leacon Works Open Day of June 7, 1992 in Kent, UK. Smoke is rising on the right from one of the visiting steam engines. No. 12 is one of two survivors from a class of 20 engines.
