With high-capacity BR1F tender, British Railways standard class 9F No. 92212 trundles happily along at Woodthorpe, Great Central on crew familiarisation, June 1, 1997. The BR1F tender was I think originally designed for use on the Eastern Region and the resemblance to an LNER pacific tender is noticeable.
